Our Story

What initiates us as babies to give our first smile, first giggle, first enamored affection and bright eyed attention? Well our family shares a common first love, outside of togetherness, and that is the love and happiness that flowers bring.

Our grandparents come from Switzerland, proudly bringing the National flower’s legacy, the Edelweiss - known as the symbol of Love, to our family crest. Our heritage holds centuries of connection to natural beauty - and our grandparents’ stories of endless seas of wild and cultivated flowers was the motivation to recreate the famous Alpine fields here, in our own way, through a life of flower farming, custom bouquet programs and wholesale distribution.

We worked closely with our Grandmother and Mother as children, learning how to grow and gather handfuls of beauty and as our family grew, so did our farming. We couldn’t wait to grow our hobbies into responsibilities so as soon as us sisters could drive, we organized our own wholesale bouquet company and started selling directly to the Portland Flower Market in 1980. We have been working in the floral industry ever since.

With 40 years of continual floral experience, we have engaged in acres of blooms and a myriad of industry trends. We have employed essential startups within the industry ranging from supplying lavishly glamorous flower shoppes; to merchandising sophisticated flower stands; to organizing modern corporate floral programs in grocery store-fronts.

All this done as a true family affair. Between us sisters, we have raised 18 children and as you can imagine, part of their chores and training into adulthood began by helping us with the various tasks our enterprises have needed. Starting with summers of harvesting flowers at sunrise and trucking to clients by sunset, we can confirm that a family that works together stays together!

Our expertise of wholesale distribution also sprouted a passion for supporting other Local, Family Farms. We pay special attention to consistent quality from the weekly inspection of handling product throughout the years, and pursue those farms that meet or exceed our quality standard. Building relationships with these local farmers has lead to the successful flourishing on both grower and distribution sides - we have solidified quality sources for hundreds of types of flowers for clients while also providing large sales to small farming operations that delight in the trade work.

Just as seasons change for the flowers to go from bud to bloom, then gone to seed, we recognize our industry must adapt to the new economic road paved by recent worldwide events.

Flowers have always been inviting us to relax, be present, and appreciate the beauty of life - so when we actually take a moment to pause, be still, and focus on the wonder of the present moment - peace emerges. The gift of the flower reminds us all that life is a gift.

By following this lesson of the flower, we reinvented our business model to make gifting love and beauty more accessible when our presence in person isn’t as encouraged as it used to be. We are beginning doorstep deliveries to residential and commercial addresses, including bi-weekly, bi-monthly and special event (birthdays, births, weddings, anniversaries, etc) subscriptions services.

And since the obstacles of small occupancy and mask mandates make retail shopping challenging these days - we are routing a weekly “fresh flower farmers market” concept mini truck to bring the selection to your fingertips, in a consciously safe and creative environment. Imagine the days of hearing the ice cream truck turning onto your street as a child... but now imagine that same vibrant exciting energy as a fresh flower truck stocked with top seasonal selections. We are a family that Loves. It is as simple as that. Our hope is to share the richness that flowers can bring, where words cannot express - flowers can speak volumes. A colorful, fragrant reminder to lift our spirits and to rejoice, as God gave us flowers to remind us to live fully in every moment we have to bloom!
